The Mount of Olives

The Mount of Olives or Mount Olivet (Hebrew: הַר הַזֵּיתִים, Har HaZeitim; Arabic: جبل الزيتون, الطور, Jabal az-Zaytūn, Aț-Țūr) is a mountain ridge near the Jerusalem's Old City, which the olive groves once covered. It has been a Jewish cemetery for over 3,000 years.

It is said that Jesus Christ spent time on the mount, teaching and prophesying to his disciples, returning after each day to rest, and also coming there on the night of his betrayal. Jesus Christ also ascended to heaven from this Mount.

Kinh khi về:
Những nhớ bước động Đào buổi trước,
Những nhớ khi Hớn rước Diêu Trì.
Kăn Ta Ca, đỡ bước đi,
Ra thành Phật Tổ gặp kỳ ly cung.
Dẩy xe trâu Côn Lôn trổi bánh,
Lý Lão Quân mong lánh phong trần.
Núi Ô Li Vê để dấu chân,
Gia Tô Giáo chủ giải phần hữu sanh.

Prayer after Returning Home:
There are religious stories I always remember
Like Emperor Wu of Han received God the Mother.
Kantaka, a horse, was a very useful helper
When Prince Siddhartha left the Royal Palace for a remote corner.
The water buffalo cart made preparations
To take Laotzu to the Kunlun Mountains.
On the Mount of Olives
Jesus Christ taught his life philosophy.
